Food. Water. Shelter. Medicine. This is what Haiti needs now. Sustaining these initiatives over time is what Haiti needs tomorrow. Focused on food sustainability programs, MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger, in collaboration with American Jewish University, The Board of Rabbis of Southern California, The Chopra Foundation, Spicy Charlie’s, QSC Concert Solutions, Innovation Protocol and Steve Addison Events, proudly presents Haiti Food Project: A Second Aid Benefit for sustainable food programs that feed and nourish the Haitian children and the communities they live in. Haiti Food Project is setting the stage for “second aid” – enabling Haiti’s transition from survive to thrive. Proceeds from the event will be awarded to the Lambi Fund of Haiti, International Medical Corps., Friends of the Children of Lascahobas, Haiti, and the Albert Schweitzer Hospital of Haiti.
Please help us by purchasing tickets, becoming an event sponsor, volunteering (day or evening shifts prior or the day of the event), helping us spread the word by telling your friends and tweeting the hashtag #haitifoodproject, or by providing needed goods and services for the event. (All donations and contributions are tax deductible as MAZON is a 501(c)(3) charity)
