What it Means for Advocates:

Hunger is a serious problem in the United States and throughout the world.  One component of MAZON’s work to end hunger and alleviate its suffering is the organization’s participation in a consortium that created the Blueprint to End Hunger. This blueprint highlights the role that federal, state and local governments, schools, community organizations, nonprofit groups, labor and industry and individuals can play in bringing about an end to childhood hunger by 2015.

Read the blueprint, especially the section describing what individuals can do.  What are the practical steps you can take to eradicate hunger?  Who do you need to contact?  How can you recruit other people to help you?
