MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger, a leader in the national anti-hunger community, announced today the promotion of Mia Hubbard to Vice President of Programs. In this expanded role, Ms. Hubbard will oversee the three components of the organization’s anti-hunger efforts: partnership grants, education & advocacy, and strategic initiatives.
“I am honored to accept this new role and excited to meet this new challenge,” says Hubbard. “MAZON has made a meaningful impact on hunger, but it is clear our work is far from finished. I am excited to help MAZON continue to grow so that we can build a future where no one struggles to put healthy food on the table.”
“Mia is an invaluable part of our team,” says Abby J. Leibman, President & CEO of MAZON. “She is a recognized leader in the anti-hunger movement. Her deep knowledge of the issues, her remarkable insights into the causes of hunger and her outstanding contributions to advancing a meaningful response to those causes make her the ideal person to serve in this important role for MAZON.”
Ms. Hubbard has been with MAZON for 18 years. Most recently, she served as the organization’s Director of Grants.
