Talia Rosen is honored to serve as MAZON's student board member. She became involved with MAZON after joining Challah for Hunger her first semester at the University of Virginia. First as a dorm representative, then as the weekly sales chair, and now as the Vice President of Public Relations for her chapter, Talia continues to bring her commitment to raising awareness about hunger issues to the broadest student population.
She is excited to connect with other Challah for Hunger university chapters to share ideas about what worked for them to strengthen the social justice component of the organization’s mission.
Talia plans to graduate in the spring of 2018 with a distinguished History major and a minor in Sustainability. She hopes to attend law school and have a career as an advocate for social change and continue her commitment to support Goal 2 of the United Nations 17 Goals to Transform Our World: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
