Our donors choose to celebrate a variety of events with MAZON; weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, anniversaries and other joyous occasions. Include MAZON in your celebration by using our materials or by donating at least 3% of the cost of your life-cycle celebration. In sharing your celebration with MAZON, you honor the Jewish tradition of not eating until you have provided for the poor. Reserving a symbolic place at your table is an investment in ending hunger.

MAZON makes strategic, targeted grants to agencies working on the front lines of hunger-relief. Its key public policy innovation is helping grantees to see advocacy and activism as legitimate – and necessary – means of advancing an anti-hunger agenda. MAZON mandates that potential grantees demonstrate significant involvement in anti-hunger advocacy and public education. While these grantees must work, in the near term, to feed needy populations, MAZON also asks them to focus on their role as advocates to promote long-term change.

MAZON supports a network of highly effective hunger fighters. Food banks receive & distribute tons of perishable donations. Backpack programs provide hundreds of children meals to take home for the weekend. Agencies help dozens of working families access vital services to get back on their feet. None of this could happen without volunteers.
