After six years of cuts, MAP-PA advocated for the State Food Purchasing Program (SFPP), a program that enables food banks to acquire and distribute millions of pounds of nutritious food to those who need it most.

Act Against Hunger

Held the Act Against Hunger Forum in July 2014 with Secretary of Public Welfare Beverly Mackereth to address food insecurity and how to improve access to critical anti-hunger programs such as SNAP in Pennsylvania.
