Lauren Ross is excited to serve as the Challah for Hunger representative. She became involved with MAZON through her work with Challah for Hunger at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Lauren has been a Challah for Hunger-UW board member for two years and will be serving as the chapter president during the 2018-2019 academic year. She will be graduating in the spring of 2019, with a degree in marketing.
Lauren is passionate about fighting hunger in her community and served as a member of Challah for Hunger’s first Campus Hunger Project Student Cohort, through which she aimed to fight food insecurity among the UW-Madison student population. She hopes to use her experience as the student board representative to raise awareness of MAZON’s efforts, and to continue to enhance the social impact of Challah for Hunger chapters’ work on campuses nationwide.
