As the Development Associate, Lani provides support to the Community Engagement department and all development related activities, including gift processing and donor interactions. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Lani now lives in LA and is pursuing a Psychology degree with a minor in Nonprofit Management at Liberty University. She has worked with local and state governments through a religious based nonprofit in her own hometown to assist impoverished and gang affiliated youths live a more quality life, by giving them resources such as CalFresh and WIC application assistance, support at court hearings, counseling, job opportunities, rent assistance, and more. Lani has a personal mission to assist with hunger advocacy and those in need.
