Avi Josefson

Avi is a litigator with Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossmann LLP, which represents institutional investors in shareholder litigation. As a member of the firm’s Board and Co-head of its Case Development and Client Advisory Group, Avi leads a team of attorneys, financial analysts and investigators that analyze potential securities claims, and counsel institutional clients in the U.S., Europe, and Israel.  He has been recognized as both a “Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyer” and as one of “500 Leading Lawyers in America” by Lawdragon and by The National Law Journal as a “Plaintiffs’ Lawyers Trailblazer.”  Avi received his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.  Avi serves on the Board of Trustees of the Bernard Zell Anshe Emet Day School in Chicago.

Avi and his wife, Dr. Jami Josefson, live in Chicago and have three children.
