Emily Rothstein is the Deputy Director of Annual Giving at MAZON, where she is responsible for the strategic development and implementation of MAZON’s annual giving program. Emily returns to MAZON with a strong background in strengthening Jewish communities through philanthropy and building meaningful relationships that advance mission-driven work. Most recently, she served as Development Director at URJ Olin-Sang-Ruby Union Institute (OSRUI), where she led annual giving, major gifts, and a capital campaign. Previously, Emily held development and engagement roles at MAZON, The iCenter for Israel Education, and The Nachshon Project. She earned dual master’s degrees in Jewish Nonprofit Management from Hebrew Union College–Jewish Institute of Religion and Public Administration from the University of Southern California, and a B.S. in Community and Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Emily is based in the Chicago area, where she enjoys spending time outdoors, attending concerts and live theater, and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers.
