Sarah Hassmer

Sarah Hassmer is the Senior Staff Attorney, part of MAZON’s growing Department of Legal Advocacy. Prior to joining MAZON, Sarah spent eight years at the National Women’s Law Center advocating for nutrition, housing, and other income security policies to increase economic security for low-income women, children, and families. Sarah is an attorney and an active member of the District of Columbia and Virginia bars. She completed a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. in political science from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College.
