Overview

Since its founding, MAZON has been working to address food security and severe poverty issues in Israel. With staff on the ground working with 17 partner organizations, our vision is that Israel will take active steps to respond to growing hunger through common-sense policy reforms and support for the charitable sector. MAZON recently launched a Hebrew-language website (mazon-israel.org), which includes a clearinghouse of data and research about the scope of food insecurity in Israel. With our partners, we are creating an infrastructure for policy change, raising awareness, and shaping public discourse about this complex and persistent issue.
