Sammi Goldsmith is the Deputy Director of Public Policy in the Washington, D.C. office for MAZON, where she works closely with the Vice President of Public Policy to identify priorities, devise implementation strategies, and lead advocacy efforts on behalf of the organization. Before joining MAZON, Sammi served as Senior Policy Advisor to U.S. Congresswoman Haley Stevens. In this role, she developed and advanced legislative initiatives and managed the Congresswoman’s activities on the House Education and Labor Committee. Prior to her tenure on Capitol Hill, she held policy positions with the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism, Anti-Defamation League, and NAACP Washington Bureau. Born and raised in Metropolitan Detroit, Sammi holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Michigan.
