Lisa O’Brien, Program Director manages MAZON ’s Indian Country and LGBTQ+ senior anti-hunger programs to address food insecurity in these underserved communities. In this role, Lisa coordinates with MAZON’s advocacy strategy team, builds relationships with and supports external partners, and participates in coalitions to advance equitable policies to strengthen federal nutrition assistance programs to better serve those in need. Lisa brought her strong project management skills to MAZON in 2010, after a twenty-year career in animation and visual effects production. She has a B.A. in American Literature and Culture from UCLA.
