Ruby Zimmerman is the Legislative Assistant in MAZON’s Public Affairs office in Washington D.C. She assists with federal advocacy efforts through tracking legislation and communicating MAZON’s priorities on Capitol Hill. Before joining MAZON, Ruby spent four years working on the Hill for Congressman David Scott and Congressman Dean Phillips. There she enjoyed engaging in both agriculture and nutrition policy. Ruby hails from Atlanta, Georgia and received two B.A.s in Political Science and Rhetoric from Georgia College and State University.
