Fighting Hunger in a Post-Election Landscape

As we reckon with the impact of the election, MAZON’s leaders and policy experts came together to discuss what’s next in the fight for justice for those who struggle with hunger in America. The tools, the mission, the questions are familiar:

  • How can we defend our food safety net at the federal level? How do we pivot in the face of gridlock and backsliding?
  • How do we strengthen our state-level advocacy? What success have we seen in the most hostile legislative environments, and what can that teach us going forward?
  • How can legal advocacy ensure our safety net protects struggling Americans as intended by the letter and spirit of the law?
