On Tuesday, November 30, MAZON hosted “Serving Those Who Serve,” an important conversation on ending hunger for military and veteran families. We know that crafting real, impactful change for vulnerable populations requires coordinated effort from multiple sectors. Policymakers, philanthropists, and advocates must come together to move the levers of power to benefit those in need.

Leibman, President & CEO of MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger, joined in conversation with Senator Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, a veteran and former SNAP recipient, and Craig Newmark, Founder of Craigslist and Craig Newmark Philanthropies, weaving these perspectives together while focusing on the particular barriers to food security facing military and veteran families.
