Cara Herman is the Senior Communications Manager at MAZON, where she promotes and strengthens MAZON’s role and reputation as a leader in the anti-hunger movement. Prior to joining MAZON, Cara was a Graduate Research Assistant with the Tisch Food Center, where she researched and evaluated New York City school food and food security programs. Cara has several years of experience in healthcare consulting at Huron, where she improved healthcare delivery and operations for health systems across the United States. She also spent time working with Joan Nathan, the award-winning cookbook author and journalist, conducting research, writing, and recipe testing and managing the brand. Cara holds a Master in Public Health from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor in Business Administration from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
