Max Samis is Director of Communications at MAZON, promoting the organization’s programs and priorities and strengthening its role as a leading national voice on anti-hunger issues. Max joins the organization after a decade of spearheading media and communications efforts at leading national nonprofits, including Truth Initiative, ZERO TO THREE, and Brady: United Against Gun Violence. A native of St. Louis, Max holds a B.S. in Education from the University of Missouri and an M.A. in Media and Public Affairs from The George Washington University. He currently lives in Alexandria, VA with his wife, two daughters, and rescue dog.
