Rebecca Ward is the Major Gifts Officer at MAZON, where she works to identify effective strategies for the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of major gift prospects. Rebecca comes to MAZON with experience in both anti-hunger advocacy and Jewish community building. Prior to joining MAZON, Rebecca served as the Communications and Development Officer at the Global Child Nutrition Foundation where she coordinated communications and fundraising efforts to support nutritious school meal programs around the world. Rebecca previously served as Program Coordinator at the University of Washington’s Stroum Center for Jewish Studies, helping to develop programs and events for a diverse intellectual community that promotes the study of Jewish histories, cultures, societies, ideas, languages, and religion. She earned her B.A. in Jewish Studies and Political Science from the University of Washington. Rebecca is based in Seattle, WA where she enjoys exploring the many local trails and mountains with her husband and dog, hosting friends for dinner, and sewing garments and quilts.
