As MAZON’s Communications Associate, Jordan Pelavin works with the Vice President of Communications and Senior Communications Manager to devise and implement systems to manage MAZON’s public relations and digital presence. She is excited to be part of the professional team for an organization she has long admired. She lives in Maryland and is originally from Maryland. But she has lived (and worked) all across the country — Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Boston and lots of small towns with Jewish summer camps. Her most recent role was at Keshet, working on LGBTQ+ inclusion in the Jewish community. Jordan has a communications degree from Bowie State University with a focus on digital communication. She has previously worked as a freelance graphic designer, a synagogue youth director and a writer for various outlets.
