Ana Mendelson is delighted to serve as MAZON's student board member. She became involved with MAZON after joining Challah for Hunger her first year at the University of Virginia. Ana now serves as the president of her chapter. She is grateful for the opportunity to bring her perspective as a student leader to the wider conversation about ending hunger.
Ana plans to graduate this spring with a B.A. in Psychology and B.S.Ed in Communication Disorders. She is the recipient of Intermediate Honors, the Coffelt Public Service Award, the Raven Society Scholarship. Ana's fourth year capstone project is a research-based public service project on creating autism-friendly theatre. She hopes to attend graduate school and become a licensed Speech Language Pathologist.
