Join MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger on Thursday, December 9 at 6:00 PM ET for a social action interest meeting about West Virginia policy priorities.
Jewish text, law and history compels and obligates Jewish people to pursue justice and care for the poor and hungry. MAZON is providing support for Jewish communities in West Virginia to uphold that responsibility and translate it into concrete action to help people in the state who struggle to put nutritious food on the table every day. As we approach the upcoming West Virginia legislative session, this meeting is an opportunity to share the issues you see in your community and strategize how we can advocate for change together.
To register, please email MAZON’s Organizer, Lauren Banister, for more information.
